Barncourt is a converted barn, completed
in the year 2000 by its builder / owner. It offers high
quality bed and breakfast in the heart of the countryside.
There are two double bedrooms, both fully en-suite
(non-smoking), colour TV, radio and tea and coffee making
facilities.
Full English Breakfast is served in our
large dining room. Guests have the use of the living room.
All rooms are fully centrally heated.
Barncourt has direct access onto the Worsley
Trail which forms part of the Isle of Wight's extensive network of
way-marked footpaths and bridleways. The farm is directly on
the Isle of Wight Cycle Route which runs around all the Island.
There are many tourist attractions within
walking distance, including picturesque Godshill, Appuldurcombe House
and the Donkey Sanctuary. In addition there are plenty of public
houses, including two in the village.
The Isle of Wight is
blessed with miles of sandy beaches, stretching around most of the
Island, there are the sea-side resorts of Shanklin, Sandown and
Ryde as well as the unspoilt beaches of the West Wight.
We have paddocks for your horse
or pony to stay in and it may be possible to offer stabling. We
regret no dogs. |
